APOSTILLE

Apostille is a verification of the signature and also an imprint of a stamp on a public document. This certification is carried out to use the document in one of the states that is a party to the so-called Hague Convention.

In the Slovak Republic, this Convention entered into force on 18 February 2002. The Apostille simplifies the conditions for the use of authentic instruments issued by the authorities of one Contracting State in the territory of another Contracting State.

The so-called apostille authority in the country where the deed was issued will certify the apostille’s authenticity of the public, for example, the birth certificate, the marriage certificate, the expert opinion, the certificate and various other deeds.

In Slovakia, the following authorities may issue certificates – Apostille: Regional Courts of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Defense, District Offices, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic. Each of the appointed bodies ensures the Apostille of the public deed characteristic of its department. For example, the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic may issue a certificate for civil documents such as certificates, diplomas, etc.

Our company REAL DEAL + provides Apostille through the relevant authorities. So, if you need to apostille a public document, you can fully contact us. We will arrange for you all the steps related to the issuance of the certificate. In addition, it is more advantageous to order an apostille from a company than to arrange everything yourself. The main reason is the time because, as mentioned above, each document is dealt with by another of its competent authorities, which means that sufficient space needs to be defined. And apart from the fact that each document is processed in a different place, it also has a different processing process. In some cases, a court translation, a certificate of a court interpreter, or a certificate at a foreign embassy is required.

The process of document verification – the apostille begins with the delivery of the original documents, the subsequent apostille, if also necessary, the official translation, and finally the delivery of the verified archive. We will hand it over to you in person or deliver it to you by courier.

The Apostille certificate completes the verification of the document, and thus the certificate. Or deed can be presented in a country that has signed the Hague Convention. If you are interested in such a service, do not hesitate to contact us. We are at your disposal.
